Sustainable British meat with high welfare standards
Our supplier Select Butchery source exclusively from British farms that share their passion for non-intensive farming and have total control of their animal’s welfare. They have been successfully supplying London’s top restaurants for over 20 years with the guiding belief that for meat & poultry to taste great, it has to be reared with care. Select Butchery’s focus on sourcing from British farms lowers the overall emissions of their meat and also means that the farming standards are in line with UK regulations surrounding sustainable farming practices.
The same applies to our seafood supplier, Reach Foods – who work very closely with fishermen to create an ethically viable supply chain regardless of distance.
Smith & Brock
Our fruit and vegetables are supplied by Smith & Brock, who have searched tirelessly to ensure the produce they supply is from the most sustainable growers; whether that be from the coast of Italy, and the mountains of Spain to Kent countryside.
Smith & Brock have also worked hard to introduce carbon emission-reducing practices within their own operations as well as their partners, such as using biodegradable, recyclable packaging for all products, and utilising their fleet to backhaul goods where appropriate.
Reach Foods
Sustainability is a core principle of Reach Foods as they hold MSC & ASC chain of custody certification; which enables them to ensure our seafood is traceable. They only work with suppliers that adhere to industry standards for responsible & sustainable fisheries and seek to only work with suppliers that also prioritise sustainability.
