Very friendly, quick service, enjoyed the food, good value for London

I've been going to this restaurant on and off for 25 years so when I needed a quick pre show pasta I headed here. I ordered one of the day's specials: Penne arrabiata. This was delicious. Service was prompt & very friendly.

Thanks to Barclaycard and Spaghetti House, our second visit in the past month entitled us to an extra £15 discount off the bill. That's a bonus. The food and service were impeccable again

I just want to let anyone know how wonderful the atmosphere is in the Bryanston St. Spaghetti House. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, and the service is really efficient even when really busy. This time I have been served by Antonio, funny,helpful and attentive guy. This is the third time I go there for dinner and it never disappointed me. I always had a lovely dinner, the food was just delicious. I will definitely be coming back again! Thanks!

I went to the restaurant yesterday night. The dinner was really good. The service was wonderful. The waiter proposed us a lot of meal combinations, as well as the drinks. He was very kind and educated, friendly and at the same time professional.

A note from your regulars! Just to say that your chef Fatos makes the most superb pumpkin soup.. As joke today we took in yesterdays Guardian recipe page about pumpkin, chestnut and gorganzola rissotto.......and he surprised us by making it! It was abolutely delicious. Last Thursday, 29th December, was our second visit to a Spaghetti House - about a year ago, we visited the infamous "siege" restaurant. We saw it was a Speghetti House, remembered the great first experience and went straight in. What can l say? it was just perfect. Even the house wine was good. A particular highlight was the whitebait and fried Courgette starters. Both came in a delightful metal bucket and tasted delicious. Not since dining around the Med have l tasted such simple yet tasty food. In addition, the staff were very attentive and aware of any delays in service. My wife speaks Italian and could understand what the staff were saying. She was impressed.

This week i visited your restaurant and i sat in the front of it. I had a lovely evening there and i really enjoyed the environment. The waiter Pedro suggested me a really nice dish called cannelloni and i had a lovely mix salad with the meal. I will for sure come back.

I would like to thank you and your colleagues for providing a very special occasion for us yesterday. The food, wine, crackers and in particular the service - was all excellent. We thought Davide and the young lady who served were really on the ball and attended to everything promptly and calmly.

We arrived 15 minutes early(5.15pm Saturday)) but staff did their best to have our table ready ASAP... leaving us with a very small 5 minute wait - perfect....the experience got better.... 2 adults, 4 children.... starters and main courses - all exceptional... waitress attentive but not overly so - just right. I was bowled over to say the least.... my wife couldnt believe how enthused I was with the whole lot (haha only because I very rarely find a place which is as near to perfection as you can get). I am a vegetarian and therefore prefer Italian restaurants. I have three or four that I favour in London. About four years ago I went to the Spaghetti House, Marble Arch for the first time. Since then I have been two or three times a week whenever I am in London. The food is good and the menu varied, even for a vegetarian. The prices are fair, good value for money in todays depressed economic climate. I think the wine list is adequate although I think the reds could be a bit more adventurous. But the one thing that makes it work so well is the staff. Claudio and his team make a good restaurant into an excellent one. They sprinkle the magic dust!!!! No task is too great and no detail too small for them. They are happy, smiling, efficient and courteous and I would be delighted if you would pass on my thanks and best wishes to them all.

I have to tell you how delighted I am with the Bryanston Street Spaghetti House. I dont drink alcohol and I dont eat pork but nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this restaurant. They never let me down. Claudio and the other staff make so much effort to ensure that their clients have a grand experience at their restaurant. I want to recognise their efforts and hope you will advise them of my accolade.

I am a vegetarian. I prefer Italian food. I have several Italian restaurants that i favour in London, About four years ago I went to the Spaghetti House Marble Arch. It is a very good restauarant, the food is very good the prices reasonable, the wines are fine though the red could be a bit more adventurous but most of all the staff are fabulous, they are really special. Claudio and his team are magic. No task too large and no detail too small. They are polite and efficient and friendly and curteous. They make a good restaurant into an excellent one. Please pass on my best wishes and congratulations to Claudio and his team. I have made the Spaghetti House Marble Arch my preferred restaurant in town!!!

Warm welcome, good service, attentive without being intrusive, excellent food. I like the fact, too, that you serve wine in carafes - a great plus, in my view. I always choose this Spaghetti House if I have time for luinch when I come to London from my home in Kent.

I visited the restaurant a few days ago...8 of us altogether... We decided to order different dishes to share between us... First of all I have to point out how organise this restaurant is...Usually when there is more than 2 diners waiters cannot cope...Previous restaurants we'd visited could not handle the pressure of 8 diners on a busy night... Claudio was very attentive & organised...very patient...knew the menu perfectly & even advised us on the choice of wine for the dishes we had ordered. The food was excellent (big thank you to the Chef)... We will be coming back again soon. Many thanks to Claudio & the team in general...We will be back for sure

Me and my friend went to spaghetti house today after a long browse round london and a very late saturday night!

The food was excellent - we both had the burger. It was so delicious, the meat was tender and succulent and the chips with it were perfect, skinny fries which are the best in my mind.

The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and the service was very good (although we did have to wait for our drinks, just a jug of tap water, after we ordered but apart from that excellent).

The desserts looked amazing too, i saw many being served but unfortuantely i couldn't fit one in because of the burger.

Hello there, We came to your restaurant last night in a big party of about 25 for a friend's birthday. I had never visited a 'Spaghetti House' before so I was excited to see what all the fuss was about..

The food we had was excellent, the speed of service was great and I must tell you that the staff we interacted with were first-class. Our main waiter was Vinci and he was the most lovely person who was so accommodating (even when we wanted to move all the tables around!) and so polite and very friendly. He is an absolute asset to your company and the smile never left his face which was so welcoming!

We also were served by Davide, Ricardo and Paula who were all lovely and helpful and friendly too. Great staff members!

People are so quick to complain these days, but i thought I should let you know what an amazing team of workers you have and how they made our night so special.

Particularly Vinci, so thank you very very much!

Ate at Goodge St. restaurant while on business during first week in November. being a lone diner can sometimes make you self concious but i was made to feel very comfortable and the sevice and general atmosphere made it a very pleasant meal.

The service was very friendly and helpful. A special thanks for the help in finding a cab back to the hotel.

My family and i visited your restaurant on Saturday 22nd October as part of a day trip from Birmingham. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the speed and attentiveness of your staff. We were also impressed with your children's menu as it is hard to find a reasonably priced children's meal that is healthy and tasty, but you've got it! We were wondering if you would ever consider opening a restaurant in Birmingham as the fresh food and tasty menu would be a welcome addition to the city.

Was looking forward to another visit to the Spaghetti House restaurant in Knightsbridge and was not disappointed. I was served by Manuel who has been with the resturant for absolutely ages. I loved the new 2 or 3 course set price menu and pleased to see some new choices. All the friendly and attentive staff make this restaurant a pleasure to dine in. A real gem and good value for money in the Knightsbridge area. Will be back very soon.

This is one of the best retaurants in the West End. The staff are so friendly and efficient. The food is always excellent and all the staff smile at the customers give all a good welcome. Antonella the manager is terrific. She always has time to chat to the customers. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. My husband and I had a very enjoyable meal at the Goodge St Spaghetti House recently. The staff were all very charming and polite. The lasagne I had was exactly as I remember it almost 30 years ago. We had a very enjoyable evening and will be visiting again shortly!.

I have been tonight to this restaurant and got a vry good service I asked for a take away by the time I finished my wine the order was ready was ready the current manager and staff are really good.

About 20 of us were there without booking but we were served fast and the food was all good.

One would expect to find a great restaurant just off of Grosvenor Square, but this one is an exception due to the personnel!

I have been going to the Original Spaghetti House for over 30 years off and on. In fact I was happy know that the Manager was usually the same one I had known for years. The staff are always helpful and service is quick. The waitresses coped well with us taking a while to order because we were chatting and to us ordering at different times.

When I lived in London I visited your restaurants regularly. The standard was always consistent and the service friendly and professional. Having moved away from London I rarely visit now. It was therefore a pleasure to dine yesterday at Cranbourn street when 40 years on the standards have been maintained. Delicious meal, friendly staff fair prices.

last week we had an excellent meal quickly served before a show. The large calamari each and two different salads with half litre of house red. I have been a regular at this restaurant since 1969 and my partner for much longer.

I went to Knightsbridge with my wife and one of my daughters. We had a lovely meal and the staff and manager were so friendly and helpful as usual. We visit on a regular basis and always get a wonderful welcome.

It had been over 20 years since I had been to Spaghetti House in Goodge Street but I remembered the lovely profiteroles I had there then. When I visited Westfield with my husband and children I suggested we ate at your restaurant there and we had a very good meal with great service.

The food was very good and the service very friendly - attentive without being intrusive.

First time at Spagetti House and it definatley won't be our last. Booked for 7pm on Saturday 10th September as it was our daughters 18th. We were so looked after. Lovely waters and waitresses. The manager also looked after us so well even bringing out a lovely desert with a candle in for our daughter while the lights were dimmed and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Many Thanks.

As always, a friendly reception and good food on 29th July. Goodge Street in 1955 was my first visit to an Italian restaurant and I and my husband have been using the chain ever since. We could be your oldest customers!

Through the years, any time I'm lucky enough to be in London, its a *must do* to eat at the Spaghetti House. My mother met my father when he was stationed in London 42 years ago, and with the US Embassy being close by, this was a popular spot for lunch or dinner. We were there twice this past June, and everything was outstanding, and my mother says the quality of the food is every bit as wonderful today as way back then...that's saying something. Keep up the good work, and we look forward to our next visit!

In answer to the card, I was handed when I left. Was it the best Spagetti in town, yes it was, it was perfection , you cannot improve on perfection.

Being in London, I have visited my favourate Sparhetti House for many years at Haymarket. Food was delicious, service excellent like ever.

Went to Westfield and instead of going to Nando's me and my boyfriend decided to go to the spaghetti house and it was amazing my boyfriend had an hamburger and i had the spaghetti bolognese was amazing going back there soon love it.

Visited with my Wife and Father on Saturday 2nd July 2011. Ordered two beers and a glass of wine for my wife. The waitress asked if she would like a glass of water with her wine - excellent! Very rare to be offered this, shows very good cutomer care. We had lasagna, spagetti bolgnese and spagetti with meatballs as main courses. All served with minimum wait and piping hot. Perfect sized portions and full of flavour. All in all a superb dining experience - Thank you

I have been going to The Spaghetti House in Googe Street now for over 40 years. I have always been positively impressed with the cuisine and the friendly but efficient service from your staff.

It came to arranging a meal to celebrate the birthdays of my Mother (90 years!) and my cousin, and I recommended your branch in Googe Street as I felt sure that it suit all of our guests for all of the ‘boxes one tries to tick’ when choosing for such an event.

The meal was set for yesterday early afternoon yesterday, and from the start things were handled really well by your manager Darren. I even received a telephone call from one of your staff on Saturday (Wildo I believe) to check numbers etc. When we arrived a table was set for our largish party and at the outset Dino was very hands-on making sure things got under way at the right pace.

Given that I understand ‘through the grapevine’ that another party of 20 people turned up so late that at one point your guys thought that they weren’t coming, your people there must have been under quite a bit of stress but they coped admirably with our party; and Dino, who I understand is fairly new addition to your team there, especially so. What it must have been like in the kitchen God only knows!

All of this helped my cousin and our guests have a very nice celebration.

We often visit London for various events and we called in at this restuarant. We had had a warm welcome and an excellent meal finishing with the best coffee and grappa.. We will always come to your restuarants and recommend them to our friends in the future.

Visited on Sunday afternoon 22nd May (my birthday) and had a very happy experience. The waiter offered good advice and did not push us to order the next course. We tried many dishes and wine and stayed for two and a half hours. Because we liked the atmosphere three of us visited again on the afternoon of Sunday 5th June and again it was a very happy experience although we only ordered one course. All the dishes were delicious and tasty. The lasagna took me to Italy. Again the waiter was not pushy. We will definitely visit again.
